Job summary

Pace® Analytical Services in Massachusetts is seeking an entry-level Lab Assistant to support daily operations in our environmental testing laboratory. You will learn and perform glassware washing, drying, and organization while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

No prior laboratory experience is required; training will be provided. This role supports the lab team and offers hands-on, reusable skills in a busy scientific environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean laboratory glassware according to established procedures.
• Dry, organize, and return glassware to the correct laboratory locations.
• Pick up and transport glassware between designated laboratory areas.
• Keep the glassware washing and storage areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Properly dispose of broken glassware according to health and safety procedures.
• Monitor and restock laboratory supplies and other commonly used materials.
• Help maintain the general cleanliness and organization of the laboratory.
• Follow established safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Assist laboratory team members with other basic support activities as needed.
• Complete simple documentation or data entry related to assigned work.

This is an entry-level position, and no previous laboratory experience is required. We will provide the training you need to be successful. This role is primarily responsible for washing, drying, organizing, and returning laboratory glassware. It is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, staying organized, and helping a team operate efficiently. What You’ll Do
