Job summary

Pace Labs in Westborough, MA is seeking an entry-level Lab Assistant to support our environmental testing laboratory. No prior laboratory experience is required, as we provide training to help you succeed.

You will wash, dry, organize, and return laboratory glassware, transport items between locations, and help keep the lab clean and safe while following health and safety procedures. This is a team-oriented, hands-on role with room to grow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness and ability to learn established cleaning and safety procedures.

• Ability to perform repetitive, hands-on tasks and remain standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean laboratory glassware according to established procedures.
• Dry, organize, and return clean glassware to the correct laboratory locations.
• Pick up and transport glassware between designated laboratory areas.
• Keep the glassware washing and storage areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Properly dispose of broken glassware according to safety procedures.
• Monitor and restock laboratory supplies and other commonly used materials.
• Help maintain the general cleanliness and organization of the laboratory.
• Follow established safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Assist laboratory team members with other basic support activities as needed.
• Complete simple documentation or data entry related to assigned work.
• Work cooperatively with laboratory staff and contribute to a positive, respectful workplace.
