Job summary

Pace Analytical Services, LLC is seeking a dependable Lab Assistant to support the environmental testing laboratory. This entry-level role requires no prior lab experience and includes training.

Responsibilities include washing, drying, organizing, and returning lab glassware, and assisting the team to maintain a safe, efficient workspace. You’ll work Saturday through Wednesday from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a starting compensation of $17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No previous lab experience required; training provided.
• Willingness to learn safety procedures.
• Dependability and attention to detail are essential.
• Good organizational and communication skills are important.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean laboratory glassware according to procedures.
• Dry, organize, and return glassware to correct locations.
• Transport glassware between lab areas.
• Keep washing and storage areas clean and organized.
• Dispose of broken glassware per safety procedures.
• Restock laboratory supplies and materials.
• Maintain lab cleanliness and organization.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Assist team with basic support activities as needed.
• Complete simple documentation or data entry.

We are looking for a dependable and motivated Lab Assistant to support the daily operations of our environmental testing laboratory. This is an entry-level position , and no previous laboratory experience is required . We will provide the training you need to be successful.

This role is primarily responsible for washing, drying, organizing, and returning laboratory glassware . It is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying organized, and helping a team operate efficiently.

What You’ll Do

• Wash and clean laboratory glassware according to established procedures.
• Dry, organize, and return clean glassware to the correct laboratory locations.
• Pick up and transport glassware between designated laboratory areas.
• Keep the glassware washing and storage areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Properly dispose of broken glassware according to established health and safety procedures.
• Monitor and restock laboratory supplies and other commonly used materials.
• Help maintain the general cleanliness and organization of the laboratory.
• Follow established safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Assist laboratory team members with other basic support activities as needed.
• Complete simple documentation or data entry related to assigned work.
• Work cooperatively with laboratory staff and contribute to a positive, respectful workplace.

What You’ll Bring
