Responsibilities

• Prepare slides, monitor and record temperatures of refrigerators, freezers, and water baths.
• Retrieve and move specimens to/from storage, unpack, load/unload samples and analyzers.
• Generate daily work lists for various teams.
• Sort, scan, and assign sequence numbers to laboratory samples.
• Process samples, prepare reagents, and label slides under supervision.
• Restock glassware and consumables; perform waived tests as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification if applicable.
• 0-1 years of relevant experience or equivalent education/training.

Skills and Abilities

• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and adherence to SOPs.
• Data recording and computer skills.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and work under stress.

Working Conditions

• Work performed in a clinical environment with potential exposure to biological fluids.
• Physical requirements include standing, twisting, bending, lifting up to 35 lbs, and repetitive hand movements.
