Job summary

Job Responsibilities:
  • Performs pre-analytic processing of specimens; collects specimens; accessions, labels and distributes specimens including blood samples by venipuncture and capillary puncture in all patient areas.
  • Instructs patients in the collection of urine samples and tolerance tests in all patient areas.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years old and/or have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 year of experience preferred and/or graduation from a phlebotomy program.
