Job summary

Inotiv, Inc. in Denver, PA is seeking a Manager, Lab Animal Operations to lead the site’s operational performance and regulatory compliance.

The role is on-site with ~25% travel, overseeing operations across departments to deliver safe, quality, and cost-effective outcomes for customers. The position combines day-to-day management with strategic planning, requiring strong leadership, relationship-building, and a track record in the biomedical industry, including animal care and process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Science or Management or equivalent experience.
• 8–10 years in management roles with P&L responsibility.
• 10+ years in the biomedical industry with animal experience.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead site operations with regulatory compliance and safety at the forefront.
• Drive profitability, productivity, and cost control while maintaining quality.
• Manage staffing, training, and performance evaluations for operations teams.
• Coordinate with quality, safety, HR and customer-facing functions to deliver projects.
• Engage in customer visits, regulatory inspections, and business development support.
