Job summary

Inotiv is seeking a Manager, Operations to lead and optimize flagship manufacturing operations with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, productivity, and cost control. The role requires hands-on leadership, regulatory compliance, and active collaboration with customers and regulators at the Denver facility.

Travel ~25% and on-site presence are expected; 8–10 years in management within biomedical fields; animal experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Science or related field; 8–10 years of management experience; 10+ years in biomedical industry.
• Experience working with animals; animal production experience preferred.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Understand P&L, revenue recognition, cost control, and achieve profit, cost and revenue goals while monitoring performance.
• Visible leadership; hold regular meetings, two-way communication, cascade info, attend opening/closing meetings with customers and regulators.
• Ensure regulatory compliance is met, drive quality metrics, maintain 5S and regular inspections, uphold animal care regulations.
• Operate units at regulatory compliance (AAALAC, USDA, audits); manage staffing and technician training; assist marketing and sales efforts.
• Assist in budget forecast by projecting revenue and expenses; monitor performance to meet financial goals.
• Achieve customer satisfaction and loyalty; align operational strategy with customer needs; collect feedback and drive action plans.
• Support disaster recovery plans, contingency planning, and business continuity policy implementation; test procedures annually.
• Conduct performance evaluations and work with HR on workforce planning and disciplinary matters.
