Job summary

Sherwin-Williams invites you to join its Management & Sales Training Program in Los Angeles. This entry-level program prepares you for Store Management in 18-24 months, with a potential step into Assistant Store Manager after the initial 8-week training.

You will learn operations, sales to large commercial users, leadership, and strategy, with a structured path and opportunities for progression within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must have at least a bachelor's degree by the start of the program.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Complete training consistent with the established program.
• Support business strategies to increase sales and profitability.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Build and maintain knowledge of all products to recommend effectively.
• Build positive relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Complete store administration.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures including safety, loss prevention, and security.
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
• Support employee training, development, performance management, and corrective action.
• Respond to and resolve customer and/or employee complaints.
• Partner with Store Manager to make outside sales calls to increase market share.
