Job summary

Sherwin-Williams invites applications for its Management & Sales Training Program, an accelerated, entry-level track designed to prepare you for Store Management in 18–24 months. Through a promote-from-within culture, you may advance to Assistant Store Manager after the 8-week training.

Typical schedule is 44 hours weekly, with possible evenings/weekends. You will lead in a million-dollar store, learning operations, clients, and strategy while expanding market share with large commercial

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must have at least a bachelor's degree by the start of the program.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. (up to 50 lbs. frequent).

Responsibilities

• Complete training consistent with established program.
• Support business strategies to increase sales and profitability.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Build and maintain knowledge of all products to ensure effective customer recommendations.
• Build positive relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Complete store administration.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures including safety, loss prevention, and security.
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
• Support employee training, development, performance management, and corrective action.
• Respond to and resolve customer and/or employee complaints; partner with Store Manager to make outside sales calls to increase market share.
