Job summary

Active Cultures (AC) is a public arts nonprofit in Los Angeles that explores the intersection of art, food, and ecologies through artist-led projects and programs. The Programs Manager leads production and logistics across AC’s artistic program, member events, and special programs.

Reporting to the Executive Director and collaborating with the Curator and Director of Communications and Operations, the role covers run of show, setup, supplies, vendor and venue communication, and volunteer

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating live arts events and programs.
• Strong logistics planning and vendor communication skills.
• Ability to drive in Los Angeles County and work evenings/weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead production and logistics across AC’s artistic program, member events, and special programs.
• Oversee run of show, setup, supplies, and venue coordination.
• Coordinate vendors, venues, and volunteers; ensure smooth program execution.
• Collaborate with Executive Director, Curator, and Director of Communications and Operations.
