IPolarity is seeking an experienced L3 Data Center Technician / Technical Lead to head daily data center operations in Reno, NV. You will supervise teams, manage deployments, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure high-quality service delivery.

The role requires hands-on data center experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills to mentor staff and ensure adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on Data Center Operations or Infrastructure Hardware Support experience.
• Prior experience as a Technical Lead, Team Lead, or Supervisor.
• Strong knowledge of server hardware, rack and stack, cabling, and troubleshooting.

• Oversee data center build activities, rack and stack, server installations, and infrastructure deployments.

Hiring: L3 Data Center Technician/Technical Lead

Location: Reno, NV (Onsite)

Shift: Night Shift – 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Schedule: 4 days per week (Sunday–Wednesday OR Wednesday–Saturday)

Experience: 10+ Years

We are looking for an experienced L3 Data Center Technician / Technical Lead to lead daily data center operations, supervise technical teams, and manage infrastructure deployment activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise L1/L2 Data Center Technicians.
• Assign daily tasks, prioritize workloads, and manage escalations.
• Oversee data center build activities, rack and stack, server installations, and infrastructure deployments.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for server hardware, connectivity, and data center operations.
• Review technical build documentation and ensure compliance with approved standards.
• Coordinate with client stakeholders, network teams, and infrastructure support teams.
• Mentor technicians and ensure quality delivery of operational activities.

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of hands-on Data Center Operations or Infrastructure Hardware Support experience.
• Previous experience as a Technical Lead, Team Lead, or Supervisor.
• Strong knowledge of server hardware, rack and stack, cabling, and troubleshooting.
• Experience managing technical teams and coordinating project builds.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Important Requirements:

• Must be willing to work onsite in Reno, NV.
• Must be available for the night shift (8 PM – 7 AM).
• Hands-on data center working experience is mandatory.
