Job summary

Gruve, a fast-growing software services startup in San Francisco, is seeking an L2 System Administrator to maintain Windows Server, VMware, and cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS.

You will handle incident resolution, patching, security remediation, and 24x7 support in a follow-the-sun model, collaborating with L1/L3 teams to ensure uptime and SLA compliance. This role offers opportunities for automation and exposure to cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of enterprise infrastructure operations experience.
• Strong Windows Server administration experience (2016/2019/2022).
• VMware ESXi/vCenter administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Azure and AWS cloud operations.
• Scripting/automation using PowerShell or Python.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 support for Windows Server incidents, patches, and service requests.
• Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server environments and AD DS, GPO, DNS, DHCP.
• Manage VMware ESXi/vCenter, VM provisioning and lifecycle tasks.
• Provide L2 cloud operations support for Azure and AWS resources.
• Follow ITIL incident, change, and problem management processes.
• Coordinate with L1/L3, Security, and Networking teams and support follow-the-sun model.
