Job summary

Gruve is seeking a proactive L1 System Administrator to support Windows Server, VMware, and Azure/AWS infrastructure. The role focuses on monitoring, alert triage, health checks, basic troubleshooting, incident logging, and timely escalation to L2/L3 teams to maintain service availability and meet SLAs.

You will work in a 24x7 production support environment, collaborate with Network, Security, Storage, and Application teams, and follow ITIL processes for incident, change, and request management.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in IT infrastructure operations or cloud operations.
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server troubleshooting and Windows services.
• Familiarity with AD, DNS, DHCP fundamentals.
• Fundamental knowledge of Azure or AWS and VM monitoring.
• Exposure to ITSM platforms like ServiceNow and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Windows Server availability, resources, and critical services.
• Log and triage incidents; escalate to L2/L3 per SLA.
• Support VMware ESXi/vCenter health checks and VM status.
• Monitor Azure/AWS VM health and connectivity; perform initial troubleshooting.
• Maintain incident documentation and handover notes.
• Coordinate with Network, Security, Storage/Backup teams.
