Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a highly talented L2 Production Support Engineer in Cary, NC. The role focuses on banking domain IT operations, cloud and on‑prem integration, database migration, and strong log analytics.

You will implement and maintain secure cloud architectures in GCP, manage end-to-end support, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure service reliability on trading floor and back-office systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on experience in banking domain.
• 3+ years in on Prem Fabric technology, analytics and data platform design for enterprises.
• Experience debugging various logs (system, application, security, event, error, access, audit).
• 43+ years hands-on experience in GCP-related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement GCP-based cloud strategies and migration activities.
• Manage and optimize on-prem to cloud transitions including DB2 to Oracle migrations.
• Configure IAM roles, service accounts and access policies for data security and compliance.
• Own incident, change, and problem management across the application support domain.
• Collaborate with Jira-based backlog management for improvements and fixes.
