Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Data Center Technician to support Ellendale, ND operations, ensuring availability and reliability of critical data center systems. The role is onsite and part of a contract‑to‑hire arrangement with potential relocation incentives.

You will diagnose hardware and network issues, perform root‑cause analyses, train internal teams, and develop technical documentation while developing scripts for hardware updates. Travel to other data center locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience with computer hardware (troubleshooting, assembly).
• Proficiency in Linux operating systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in elevated locations.
• Comfortable in a 24/7 operational environment with on‑call rotation.

Contract Details

• Contract‑to‑hire: 6 months to 1 year
• Sign‑on bonus for relocation:
• $2,500 (short‑distance)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.
