TEKsystems in Summerville, SC is seeking an Entry-Level Data Center Technician to support hardware installation, cabling, and rack organization in data center environments. This role requires a strong work ethic and reliability; no extensive IT experience is needed, just willingness to learn and hands-on problem solving in a team setting.

This Contract to Hire position is onsite with a pay rate of $20 per hour.

Responsibilities

Entry-Level Data Center Technician (IT Infrastructure Support)

Position Summary

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in IT infrastructure, data centers, or technology operations. No extensive IT experience is required. Instead, this role is ideal for candidates who have demonstrated a strong work ethic, reliability, and success in physically demanding environments such as construction, the trades, military service, warehouse operations, or general labor.

The position involves hands-on work supporting the installation and organization of data center infrastructure. Candidates should be comfortable working on their feet for extended periods, climbing ladders, lifting equipment, and working in varying weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation and deployment of data center infrastructure and equipment.

Pay And Benefits
