Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Data Center Technician (L1/L2) to join a Chicago-based team supporting a North Dakota project. This contract role requires relocation to North Dakota or willingness to relocate, with travel and lodging fully covered.

You will rack, stack, cable, and install servers and network gear, troubleshoot hardware and network issues, perform diagnostics, maintain inventory, and assist with site expansion and training.

Qualifications

• Data center and hardware troubleshooting experience
• Layer 1 Networking fundamentals and cabling
• Associates degree in IT or equivalent experience

Data Center Technician based out of the North Dakota area (travel expenses are covered)

Location: North Dakota (Must be interested in relocation to North Dakota if not already in the area)

All travel / lodging / food are covered.

Lodging: Company provided housing for free to consultants

Vehicle: Rental winter ready vehicles are provided (shared between 2 techs)

Travel: Flight into Ellendale, ND is covered

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $32.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
