Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a contractor to support their Desktop Services group in Rochester, NY. The role covers off-site and later on-site expansion in downtown Rochester, involving laptop staging, deployment, and rollout for new workstations.

Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, contract position with full onsite duties. The ideal candidate works independently with strong customer service skills, handling Tier 2-3 issues, imaging, hardware troubleshooting, and field-related tasks across multiple sites in

Job Description:

TEKsystems client is looking for a contractor to supplement their Desktop Services group, on the "Off-Site" Team. This group is dedicated to the hundreds of smaller, ambulatory sites across the region and will be covering the "Western" locations in Rochester. However, this position is dedicated to the an expansion in the downtown Rochester area. For the first half of the assignment they will sit out of Rochester Tech Park (Gates) and be responsible for staging and preparing laptops. The 2nd half of the project they will be on-site in the new constructed expansion and rolling out and setting up /deploying machines for new workstations.

They will report into the off-site team, but day-day working independently tracking and managing their own work, responsible for support and relationships within their defined territory and locations. Ideal candidate needs to have a level of independence and maturity to be successful in this role.

The candidate selected will be expected to work Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
