Job summary

Encompass Onsite is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to lead learning strategy, design engaging programs, and produce training videos for a dispersed workforce. The role partners with People Operations and leaders to convert policies into clear learning experiences and measurable outcomes.

The candidate will create onboarding, leadership, and frontline training, manage content updates, and ensure accessibility and alignment with compliance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of progressive experience in learning and development or related field.
• Portfolio showing original training materials and videos.
• Experience with video scripting, recording, editing, captions and publishing.
• Experience with learning management systems and e-learning tools.
• Strong writing, presentation and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop learning strategy and needs assessments to build roadmaps aligned with business goals.
• Design curricula, objectives, assessments, and manager tools for on-demand and instructor-led learning.
• Create facilitator guides, workbooks, decks, and job aids.
• Plan and produce training videos from concept to delivery, with accessibility in mind.
• Deliver programs virtually or in person and coach internal facilitators.
