Job summary

Troutman Pepper Locke LLP is seeking a skilled Learning and Development professional to advance learning initiatives for our business professionals. You will analyze skill gaps, design engaging online modules, and lead cross-functional learning programs both on-site and virtually.

The role emphasizes collaboration with HR and leadership, plus ongoing evaluation of training impact. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in L&D, strong instructional design abilities, and certification in development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of five (5) years of learning and development experience.
• Experience designing and developing online modules using authoring tools (e.g., Adobe Captivate, Articulate Rise).
• Certified for design and/or delivery of team-building programs or other learning and professional development programs (e.g., ATD APDT/CPTD).
• Experience leading project teams or coordinating cross-functional contributors to achieve learning objectives.
• Experience in creating leadership development programming preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of assignments requiring full understanding of Learning and Development discipline.
• Support the Senior Learning and Development Manager in analyzing skill gaps and learning solutions.
• Build relationships with HR, leaders, and SMEs to support priorities.
• Independently lead assigned learning projects and initiatives.
• Design and develop learning materials aligned with program goals.
• Manage learning programs, including enrollment, vendor coordination, and optimization.
• Serve as administrator of the Firm's learning management system.
• Maintain learning portals and SharePoint content distribution.
• Evaluate learning effectiveness with methods to measure impact.
