Job summary

Merck’s Learning & Development team at West Point is seeking an L&D Operational Coordinator Co-op to run daily training operations and ensure regulatory compliance. You’ll collaborate with site teams and contribute to improving training delivery methods while supporting diverse projects.

The role targets students in accredited undergraduate or graduate programs, with emphasis on organization, digital fluency, and collaboration across teams. Hybrid work option available.

Qualifications

• Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple transactions, tasks, and deadlines.
• High attention to detail, particularly regarding database management and document formatting.
• Must have digital fluency and systems aptitude.
• Experience using AI tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot).
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, filters) and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication to collaborate across multifunctional teams.

Responsibilities

• Handle Daily Training Requests: process requests via the training portal and track completion in LMS.
• Maintain Compliance & Records: update SOPs in LMS accurately and timely.
• Support Improvements & Projects: assist with projects, create simple guides, test new tools, automate tasks.
