Job summary

You will provide direct patient care for laboring women, monitor fetal heart rates, assist with delivery methods, and support mothers and families during the postpartum period.

This mid-level role requires an active MN RN license, BLS/ACLS/NRP certificates, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in Minnesota.
• Minimum of 5 years in labor and delivery, postpartum care, pediatrics or related field.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required; certification in fetal monitoring preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to laboring women and monitor fetal heart rate.
• Assist with delivery methods and postpartum care as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and nurses to plan care.
• Educate and support patients and families during labor and postpartum.
• Monitor mother and baby’s health and intervene as required.
• Advocate for patients and address concerns and questions.
• Document patient information accurately in the EMR.
