Job summary

Partou UK is seeking an experienced L&D Administrator for the Denton site to support learning and development and the wider People and Culture Team. You will drive apprenticeship administration, DAS, and apprentice records while coordinating with providers and nursery managers.

You will also manage LMS content, SCR data, and compliance training to ensure timely delivery and high-quality staff development. The role is permanent, 37.5 hours per week, with a salary of £30,000 per annum, based in

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Learning & Development department.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll play a pivotal role in providing an effective and efficient administrative service underpinning the learning and development department and, at times, the wider People and Culture Team for Partou, ensuring that all staff receive the necessary training and development opportunities for them.

You’ll support the L&D team with the administrative tasks when identifying learning / training needs, designing / sourcing training and learning solutions, delivering and evaluating training, and working with stakeholder / business area managers. Keeping records and managing learning-related data for the department will be a priority for you.

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
L&D Administrator tasks
  • Apprenticeship Administration
  • Supporting new apprentices through the selection and onboarding process
  • Approving DAS transactions
  • Keeping track of apprentices and ensuring all apprentice records up to date
  • Working with Training Providers with queries
  • Supporting Nursery Managers with queries
  • Triaging support needs to relevant departments
  • Regularly providing accurate apprenticeship data to Senior Management
LMS Administration
  • Liaising with Flick to share SCORM and video content
  • Working with Flick to ensure learning is uploaded and distributed correctly
  • Ensuring that the LMS is always distributing the most recent version of content
  • Keeping audiences and cohorts up to date
  • Working with the wider People and L&D team on implementation of a new HRIS and/or LMS (2024/25 project)
L&D Team Resource Management
  • Keeping the Learning & Development team shared drive folders up to date
  • Adopting good folder hygiene practice, such as Archive folders, and consistent naming conventions
  • Owning the management of all training resources across Partou and ensuring that these are all easily accessible, the latest version, and includes easy access to any additional related resources
Single Central Record
  • Using data from each setting, and ongoing training records, keep the SCR up to date with all qualification and training information
  • Provide regular reporting to a variety of audiences ranging from Leadership team to each individual setting on training needs
Evaluation data
  • Gather, analyse and report on data across the L&D team on bookings, attendance, training completion
  • Support the L&D evaluation process by uploading evaluation questions where relevant
  • Downloading evaluation reports when requested
Compliance
  • Distribution and tracking of all required compliance training
  • Reporting on and chasing up non-completion
Additional adhoc support
  • Organise identified training needs for each setting to include safeguarding, paediatric first aid, data protection
  • Work with business partners to plan and communicate the monthly training calendar to NSC and settings, booking spaces and people, sending out joining instructions, organising training materials, venue sourcing
  • Issue certificates to settings for completing training
  • Invoicing of all People & Culture activity
  • Supporting People Experience and People Director with organising events
