Splitwise is seeking a full-time KYC Analyst to join our Pay KYC team. The role focuses on reviewing customer identities, applying KYC/AML procedures, and balancing risk with a smooth onboarding experience.

The team operates with a hybrid HQ in Providence, RI, while many team members work remotely, with regular in-person gatherings. The KYC group collaborates across departments to complete investigations, improve processes, and contribute to company-wide risk mitigation.

• Experience in KYC/AML or financial services is helpful but not required.

• Analyze customer activity to identify potential fraud and risk patterns across cases.

• Maintain detailed case notes with actions, decisions, and supporting evidence.
• Communicate with customers to request documents and clarify discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Customer Support and other teams to resolve issues while balancing risk and user experience.
• Identify recurring problems and suggest improvements to review guidelines and workflows.
