Job summary

PyM - iNTERNATIONAL is seeking a Crypto KYC Analyst for a full-time remote role. You will perform KYC reviews, verify identities, assess risk, and support ongoing due diligence for crypto clients. The position collaborates with compliance and operations and requires staying current with evolving crypto regulations.

The role emphasizes accuracy, timely decision-making, and strict data handling in a remote, international context across North America and beyond.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in KYC, onboarding, compliance, banking, or fintech (crypto is a plus)
• Basic AML/KYC requirements knowledge
• Experience with KYC tools (Sumsub, Onfido, Jumio, ComplyAdvantage, or similar)
• Good written and spoken English

Responsibilities

• Review identity documents, proof of address, and selfie checks
• Perform KYC (individual) and KYB (business) verification per procedures
• Screen customers against sanctions lists, PEP databases, and adverse media
• Check for fake or altered documents and signs of identity fraud
• Approve, reject, or escalate applications based on risk level
• Request additional documents or information when needed
• Apply enhanced due diligence (EDD) for high-risk customers with AML team
• Record decisions in the KYC system
• Meet daily review targets and quality standards
• Collaborate with support and compliance teams on questions and escalations
• Keep up to date with KYC/AML rules and internal policy changes
