Job summary

Solaris, Europe’s leading embedded finance platform, seeks a KYB Operations Lead to supervise a team of analysts, ensuring EU AML compliance and high-quality due diligence for DiBa, Card and Liquidity customers. You will drive automation and analytics to enhance efficiency and risk management.

The role requires German and English fluency, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of KYC/AML regulations, RegTech tools, and data analytics; you will collaborate with cross-functional teams across Berlin

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CAMS, CFE, ICA) is preferred.
Significant experience, at least 7 years in KYC compliance, AML investigations, or financial services with proven team leadership and strategic management.
Demonstrated experience managing regulatory changes and working within EU AML/CFT frameworks.
Fluency in German and English is required.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of KYB analysts, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure high performance and compliance with EU AML regulations.
Manage day-to-day operations of the KYB team, including workload distribution and use of workflow automation to maximise efficiency.
Monitor KPIs and pass rates, implement data-driven strategies to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Oversee end-to-end KYB due diligence for new client onboarding and existing reviews, ensuring timely completion and regulatory compliance.
Drive adoption and optimisation of KYB automation solutions and advanced analytics within KYB workflows.
Maintain audit trails and regulatory reporting systems for full traceability of KYB decisions.
Support audits and regulatory examinations with thorough documentation and readiness.
Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and RegTech literacy within the team.
