New Relic, Inc. invites you to join the Container Fabric team, where you will oversee a massive Kubernetes infrastructure, drive platform evolution, and work with cloud-native tooling to deliver reliable, scalable systems across the globe.

You’ll own Day 1/Day 2 operations, build operators in Go, and collaborate with engineers to respond to incidents with calm, data-driven approaches. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Background in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes primitives (Deployments, StatefulSets, Services) and custom Operators.
• Go (Golang) for systems programming and automation.
• Production focus with incident management experience.

Responsibilities

• Platform Orchestration: Oversee and enhance a massive Kubernetes infrastructure platform for peak availability and reliability.
• Automation & Engineering: Evolve internal tooling to reduce manual overhead and streamline delivery.
• Lifecycle Management: Manage Day 1 and Day 2 operations for Kubernetes clusters with modern scaling.
• Operational Excellence: Lead incident responses with calm, data-driven decisions.
