Prospectsonline is seeking an outstanding primary practitioner for a maternity cover role from January to July 2027. You will teach across EYFS/KS1, deliver high-quality phonics and early reading instruction, and work to raise standards in English and Mathematics.
The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner, uphold the school's ethos, and have the ability to lead a core curriculum area while contributing to enrichment opportunities and whole-school improvement.

The successful applicant will:
Be an excellent classroom practitioner
Have experience of working in schools as an ECT/MPS/UPS teacher
Have experience of working in EYFS/KS1
Have working knowledge of phonics and early reading
Have experience or expertise in raising standards in English and Mathematics
Have high expectations of all children and be committed to raising aspirations
Embrace and embed the school's ethos
Have the ability and enthusiasm to lead a core curriculum area
Demonstrate a love for teaching and learning
Be passionate about making a difference in children's lives
Be creative, flexible and have a sense of humour
