Job summary

Prospectsonline is seeking an outstanding primary practitioner for a maternity cover role from January to July 2027. You will teach across EYFS/KS1, deliver high-quality phonics and early reading instruction, and work to raise standards in English and Mathematics.

The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner, uphold the school's ethos, and have the ability to lead a core curriculum area while contributing to enrichment opportunities and whole-school improvement.

Qualifications

• Excellent classroom practitioner with strong teaching craft.
• Knowledge of phonics and early reading strategies.
• Experience raising standards in English and Mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality KS1/early years teaching.
• Lead a core curriculum area and contribute to school improvement.
• Create and maintain engaging, inclusive lessons aligned to the curriculum.
