Qualifications

• Experience with Kronos Workforce Ready, UKG, or similar timekeeping systems.
• Prior payroll experience preferred.
• County or city government experience preferred, or experience with law enforcement scheduling.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work with deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with departments, HR, and Payroll Manager to implement the Kronos timekeeping system.
• Maintain daily Kronos timekeeping records and ensure accurate punches, schedules, and pay codes.
• Audit timecards for missing punches, incorrect job transfers, overtime compliance, and policy violations.
• Support managers and employees with Kronos questions, corrections, and approvals.
• Enter, verify, and update employee pay rates, schedules, and timekeeping rules.
• Review payroll reports including wage summaries and accrual balances.
• Collaborate with HR and leaders to resolve attendance discrepancies and ensure policy alignment.
• Assist with payroll documentation, reporting, and audits/compliance.
• Provide Kronos training and guidance to new hires and management.
• Identify process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
