Curries, an ASSA ABLOY company, seeks a Director of Operations on-site in Mason City, IA, to lead a KPI-driven manufacturing operation and engage teams across shifts while ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.

The role requires 10+ years of progressive operational leadership, Lean/Kaizen expertise, P&L ownership, capacity planning, and strong cross-functional collaboration with HR and other business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive operational leadership experience with proven results.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute a KPI-driven operations strategy aligned with business objectives and financial goals.
• Promote a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
• Own operational financials including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and capital planning.
• Champion Lean, Kaizen, root-cause analysis, and process optimization.
• Maintain a visible presence on the production floor and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee end-to-end production and logistics flow, including capacity planning and scheduling.
• Build and develop a high-performing operations leadership team and partner with HR on talent development.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with customer service, order management, engineering, quality, and supply chain.
