Job summary

Melaleuca: The Wellness Company in Knoxville is hiring a warehouse associate to operate a cherry picker and related equipment in a climate-controlled distribution center. You will log inventory with RF scanners, load/unload trailers, and maintain FIFO while keeping safety at the forefront.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, following procedures, and obtaining forklift certification. Competitive pay starts at $16.10/hour with a schedule Tue-Sun (Sat-Wed) and a $2 differential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a cherry picker or similar equipment preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to read, write and follow established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment including cherry pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and stretch wrappers.
• Accurately log inventory via handheld RF scanners.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers and stage in receiving area.
• Maintain FIFO and coordinate disposal of expired ingredients and other materials.
• Keep warehouse areas clean and compliant with GMP guidelines.
• Obtain forklift operator certification.
• Lift at least 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Follow safety and quality guidelines in a fast-paced environment.

Secure Work Environment – NO LAYOFFS We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious warehouse associate to operate a Cherry Picker in our distribution center. Prior experience operating a cherry picker or similar equipment (cherry pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, electric pallet jacks, stretch wrappers) is preferred but not required -!

Starting Pay: $16.10/hour and up (depending on experience)

Performance Reviews: 6 months, 18 months, then annually

Schedule

(Full-time) Saturday-Wednesday (4:30 am - 3:00 pm)- starting pay + $2 differential

Peak days (4-5 days/month)

• Operate various warehouse equipment in accordance with safety guidelines including cherry pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and stretch wrappers
• Store, maintain, stage and transfer ingredients, components, finished goods and supplies to appropriate work areas while ensuring an accurate inventory by completing system transactions accurately via hand-held RF scanners, and reporting discrepancies to the Inventory Coordinator
• Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers and stage appropriately in receiving area
• Maintain proper lot rotation according to FIFO guidelines and coordinate disposal of expired ingredients, returned bulk, and other materials with appropriate department management
• Maintain warehouse areas in accordance with established Good Manufacturing Practices cleanliness and safety guidelines
• Ability to pass Melaleuca forklift operator certification program
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. regularly and consistently over duration of shift
• Ability to pull, stretch, bend, and lift regularly and consistently over duration of shift
• Good written and verbal communication skills across all levels within organization
• Ability to read, write, and follow established operational procedures
• Ability to perform basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, etc.)
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment on a prolonged basis while maintaining safety and quality
