Job summary

Melaleuca Inc. is seeking a reliable, safety-conscious warehouse associate to operate a cherry picker in our Knoxville distribution center. Prior cherry picker or similar equipment experience is preferred but not required, with the ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced setting.

The part-time schedule is Saturday-Sunday, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm. We offer profit sharing after 6 months of full-time employment, a $100 monthly product voucher, comprehensive benefits, and various longevity

Qualifications

• Experience operating cherry pickers or similar equipment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to read, write, and follow established procedures.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic math and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment (cherry pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, electric pallet jacks, stretch wrappers) safely.
• Store, maintain, stage, and transfer ingredients, components, and goods with RF scanners and inventory records.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers and stage in receiving area.
• Maintain FIFO and coordinate disposal of expired materials with management.
• Keep warehouse areas clean per GMP and safety guidelines.

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious warehouse associate to operate a Cherry Pickerin our distribution center. Prior experience operating a cherry picker or similar equipment (cherry pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, electric pallet jacks, stretch wrappers) is preferred but not required! This role involves retrieving items from elevated storage locations and assisting with general warehouse duties.

Schedule:

(Part-time) Saturday-Sunday, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm

• Operate various warehouse equipment in accordance with safety guidelines including cherry pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and stretch wrappers
• Store, maintain, stage and transfer ingredients, components, finished goods and supplies to appropriate work areas while ensuring an accurate inventory by completing system transactions accurately via hand-held RF scanners, and reporting discrepancies to the Inventory Coordinator
• Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers and stage appropriately in receiving area
• Maintain proper lot rotation according to FIFO guidelines and coordinate disposal of expired ingredients, returned bulk, and other materials with appropriate department management
• Maintain warehouse areas in accordance with established Good Manufacturing Practices cleanliness and safety guidelines
• Ability to pass Melaleuca forklift operator certification program
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. regularly and consistently over duration of shift
• Ability to pull, stretch, bend, and lift regularly and consistently over duration of shift
• Good written and verbal communication skills across all levels within organization
• Ability to read, write, and follow established operational procedures
• Ability to perform basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, etc.)
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment on a prolonged basis while maintaining safety and quality
