Melaleuca, Inc. in Knoxville, TN is seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate to operate a cherry picker and support general distribution center duties. The role involves lifting, pallet moves and using RF scanners in a climate-controlled environment.

Training is provided; prior experience is preferred but not required. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–11:30pm with occasional late end times, and company benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass Melaleuca forklift operator certification.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to pull, stretch, bend, and lift regularly.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment including cherry pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, electric pallet jacks and stretch wrappers safely.
• Store, maintain, stage and transfer items with accurate inventory using RF scanners.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers and stage in receiving area.
• Maintain FIFO and coordinate disposal of expired or bulk materials with management.
• Keep warehouse areas clean and compliant with GMP and safety rules.

Description

Secure Work Environment – NO LAYOFFS

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious warehouse associate to operate a Cherry Picker in our distribution center. Prior experience operating a cherry picker or similar equipment (cherry pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, electric pallet jacks, stretch wrappers) is preferred but not required - we provide full training ! This role involves retrieving items from elevated storage locations and assisting with general warehouse duties.

Starting Pay: $16.10/hour + $2 shift differential and up (depending on experience)

Performance Reviews: 6 months, 18 months, then annually

Schedule :

(Full-time) Monday-Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm

Peak days (4-5 days/month) end at 1:30am

Responsibilities:

• Operate various warehouse equipment in accordance with safety guidelines including cherry pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and stretch wrappers
• Store, maintain, stage and transfer ingredients, components, finished goods and supplies to appropriate work areas while ensuring an accurate inventory by completing system transactions accurately via hand-held RF scanners, and reporting discrepancies to the Inventory Coordinator
• Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers and stage appropriately in receiving area
• Maintain proper lot rotation according to FIFO guidelines and coordinate disposal of expired ingredients, returned bulk, and other materials with appropriate department management
• Maintain warehouse areas in accordance with established Good Manufacturing Practices cleanliness and safety guidelines

Qualifications:

• Ability to pass Melaleuca forklift operator certification program
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. regularly and consistently over duration of shift
• Ability to pull, stretch, bend, and lift regularly and consistently over duration of shift
• Good written and verbal communication skills across all levels within organization
• Ability to read, write, and follow established operational procedures
• Ability to perform basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, etc.)
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment on a prolonged basis while maintaining safety and quality
