Job summary

Melaleuca Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our Knoxville, TN distribution center. You will move inventory, load customer orders onto pallets and trailers, and maintain a clean, hazard-free dock area. This on-site, full-time role offers growth within a well-established wellness company.

You will train to operate electric pallet jacks, work with a team, and follow established procedures while meeting safety and quality standards in a climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.

• Lift up to 70 lbs and perform repetitive dock tasks.
• Stand/walk for duration of shift and operate in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Move inventory and materials to support shipping/distribution.
• Load customer orders on pallets and trailers per dock procedures.
• Keep dock and pack areas clean and hazard-free.
• Perform pre-work equipment inspections and follow safety rules.
• Collaborate with Product Delivery Coordinator and other departments.

Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Participates in training to become a certified Electric Pallet Jack operator.
• Keeps accurate counts of stock and supplies.
• Keeps all areas behind the lines and in pack clean and free of hazards.
• Loads customer’s orders on correct pallets and on trailers on the dock, according to BMC.
• Cleans and organizes the dock, including sweeping, organizing pallets, etc.
• Stores and organizes material on the lines and in packs.
• Accurately distributes materials to various locations.
• Works as instructed by Product Delivery Coordinator.
• Performs pre-work equipment inspections.

Additional:

• Performs other duties as assigned or needed.
• Takes broken down totes and empty pallets back to production and the warehouse.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under stress.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Standing, sitting or walking for duration of shift.
• Pulling stretching, bending and lifting for duration of shift.
• Visually see all aspects and related areas within the warehouse.
• Manual dexterity for such duties as stocking, lifting, etc.
• Ability to work on the Product Delivery line.
• Ability to work as a team to achieve maximum performance.
• Ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy.

This position is located in Knoxville, Tennessee.
