Melaleuca: The Wellness Company is hiring an evening shift Custodian to provide custodial services at the Knoxville plant. Shift hours are 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

The role includes cleaning duties such as vacuuming, mopping, restroom sanitation, and window cleaning in a climate-controlled indoor environment. Starting pay is $16.40 per hour with benefits including 401(k), monthly product vouchers, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning/custodial experience preferred.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Walking, stretching, and lifting for the duration of the shift.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to climb stairs.
• Perform essential duties efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Vacuums carpeted floors and floor mats with an industrial vacuum.
• Sweeps, mops, and dusts all areas of the building.
• Removes trash and deposits it in receptacles.
• Cleans restrooms by sweeping/mopping and disinfecting fixtures.
• Cleans lunchroom by sweeping and disinfecting surfaces.
• Cleans windows inside the facility.
• Cleans offices including desks and chairs.
• Cleans lobby area and mezzanine windows.
• Ensures the building is tour-ready at all times.
• Performs duties as needed or other tasks assigned.

Responsibilities

• Vacuums carpeted floors and floor mats by using an industrial vacuum


• Sweeps, mops and dusts all areas of the building.


• Ensures that all trash is removed from the building and deposits it into the receptacle.


• Cleans all restrooms by sweeping & mopping floors, disinfecting the restrooms, (i.e., wiping & washing urinals, toilets, sinks, stalls, walls, floors, mirrors, etc.) with disinfectants.


• Cleans lunchroom by sweeping floors, disinfecting the lunchroom: by wiping & washing tables, chairs, counters, floors, walls, windows, etc.


• Cleans windows inside of the facility.


• Cleans offices including desks, chairs, carpet and chair mats.


• Cleans lobby area including the mezzanine and observatory windows.


• Ensures that the building is “Tour Ready” condition at all times.


• Performs duties of position in the work area as needed or other tasks as assigned
