Job summary

Melaleuca is seeking an evening shift Custodian to provide custodial services at the Knoxville plant. Shift hours are 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Starting pay is $16.40 per hour with 401k, product vouchers, and company events. Opportunities for advancement and a safe, climate-controlled workplace are offered.

The role includes cleaning tasks across offices, restrooms, lunchrooms, and common areas, maintaining tour-ready condition and supporting a clean indoor environment.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning / custodial experience is preferred.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Walking, stretching, and lifting for the duration of the shift.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to climb stairs.
• Ability to perform essential duties and responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Vacuums carpeted floors and floor mats by using an industrial vacuum
• Sweeps, mops and dusts all areas of the building.
• Ensures that all trash is removed from the building and deposits it into the receptacle.
• Cleans all restrooms by sweeping & mopping floors, disinfecting the restrooms, (i.e., wiping & washing urinals, toilets, sinks, stalls, walls, floors, mirrors, etc.) with disinfectants.
• Cleans lunchroom by sweeping floors, disinfecting the lunchroom: by wiping & washing tables, chairs, counters, floors, walls, windows, etc.
• Cleans windows inside of the facility.
• Cleans offices including desks, chairs, carpet and chair mats.
• Cleans lobby area including the mezzanine and observatory windows.
• Ensures that the building is “Tour Ready” condition at all times.
• Performs duties of position in the work area as needed or other tasks as assigned
