Job summary

Melaleuca in Knoxville is seeking an evening shift custodian to provide custodial support at the Knoxville plant. The shift runs 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Starting pay is $16.40 per hour, with a 401(k) plan and monthly product vouchers valued at about $100.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum carpeted floors and mats with an industrial vacuum.
• Sweep, mop and dust all areas of the building.
• Remove all trash and deposit in receptacles.
• Clean restrooms: floors, toilets, sinks, walls and fixtures with disinfectants.
• Clean lunchroom: wipe and wash tables, chairs, counters, floors, walls and windows.
• Clean windows inside the facility and clean offices and lobby areas.
• Keep the building in a tour-ready condition at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Melaleuca is looking to hire an evening shift Custodian to provide custodial services for Melaleuca's Knoxville plant.

Responsibilities

• Vacuums carpeted floors and floor mats by using an industrial vacuum
• Sweeps, mops and dusts all areas of the building.
• Ensures that all trash is removed from the building and deposits it into the receptacle.
• Cleans all restrooms by sweeping & mopping floors, disinfecting the restrooms, (i.e., wiping & washing urinals, toilets, sinks, stalls, walls, floors, mirrors, etc.) with disinfectants.
• Cleans lunchroom by sweeping floors, disinfecting the lunchroom: by wiping & washing tables, chairs, counters, floors, walls, windows, etc.
• Cleans windows inside of the facility.
• Cleans offices including desks, chairs, carpet and chair mats.
• Cleans lobby area including the mezzanine and observatory windows.
• Ensures that the building is "Tour Ready" condition at all times.
• Performs duties of position in the work area as needed or other tasks as assigned
