Lions Gate CCRC Senior Living in Voorhees, NJ is seeking a dependable Line Cook to join our Dietary Services team. This full-time role requires every-other-weekend shifts, a passion for quality meals, and strict adherence to kosher kitchen practices to serve our residents.

You will prepare meals from established recipes, maintain a clean, organized kitchen, and collaborate with dietary staff in a fast-paced, restaurant-style environment while upholding safety standards and residents’ dining

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of cooking or food preparation experience.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper handling.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain portion control.
• Strong teamwork, communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work a full-time schedule including every other weekend.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to recipes and portion sizes.
• Set up and stock the cookline with food products and utensils.
• Follow production screens to ensure timely meal preparation.
• Maintain sanitation and safe food handling throughout kitchen operations.
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized per policy.
• Coordinate with front-of-house and dietary staff for smooth service.
• Assist other cooks as needed to ensure operations run smoothly.
• Adhere to kosher dietary laws and procedures.
