Job summary

KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot is seeking a Kitchen Assistant/Dishwasher to fuel a fast-paced, guest-focused kitchen. You will help prepare, cook, and maintain a clean workspace while coordinating with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.

Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to grow in a bustling restaurant environment. Previous kitchen experience is not required but preferred, with flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to KPOT's standards.
• Assist in food preparation and ensure ingredients are fresh and ready for service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
• Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to coordinate timely service.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
• Manage time to ensure dishes are prepared timely and ready for use.
• Foster teamwork and a positive work environment.
• Assist with side work and opening/closing tasks.
• Communicate allergy orders clearly with front-of-house and management.
• Maintain a hospitality-focused attitude at all times.
