Job summary

KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot is seeking a Kitchen Assistant/Dishwasher to keep the kitchen running smoothly in a fast-paced environment. You will help with dishwashing, food prep, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace while collaborating with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service.

The role emphasizes teamwork, a positive hospitality attitude, and the ability to handle heat, noise, and varying conditions. Previous kitchen experience is not required but preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and keep dishes and kitchen area clean.
• Assist in food preparation and ensure ingredients are fresh and ready for service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times.
• Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to coordinate timely service.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
• Be a team player and support other team members as needed.
• Adapt to opening/closing tasks and allergy order communication.
