KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot is seeking a Food Runner/Busser to bridge the dining room with the kitchen, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience in a fast-paced environment. You will be a friendly presence, keeping guests informed and comfortable throughout their visit.

Greet guests, answer questions about the menu, and coordinate with the kitchen to uphold high service standards. The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask across dining and bar areas.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests promptly and warmly upon arrival.
• Answer guest questions regarding the menu and KPOT brand.
• Provide accurate information regarding menu, pricing, hours, promotions, and policies.
• Listen attentively to guests to ensure their needs are met.
• Assist with side work and opening/closing tasks.
• Observe and monitor table turnover by noting occupied/dirty/clean tables.
• Support the front-of-house team in resetting tables quickly to transition tables to guests.
• Inform management of large parties, special requests, or guest concerns.
• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and management regarding allergy orders.
• Maintain a positive, energetic, hospitality-focused attitude.
• Multi-task between bar and dining room orders.
• Be a team player and assist others to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per shift).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25–50 pounds.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive movements in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in varying conditions, including heat, cold, and noise.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Essential Functions:

• Prior restaurant experience is not necessary but preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication and a passion for delivering world-class service at every touchpoint.
• Comfortable working around grills and hot cooking surfaces.
