Job summary

KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot in Killeen, TX is seeking a Kitchen Assistant/Dishwasher to keep the kitchen running smoothly in a fast-paced setting. You will help with food prep, dishwashing, and teamwork to ensure guest satisfaction and timely service.

Successful candidates are dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working around grills and hot surfaces. Prior kitchen experience is welcome but not required; training is provided to support career growth within KPOT.

Qualifications

• No formal kitchen experience required, but helpful.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to KPOT's standards.
• Assist in food preparation and ensure ingredients are fresh and ready for service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times.
• Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to coordinate timely service.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
• Manage time to ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and dishes are ready for use.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by fostering teamwork and collaboration.
• Assist with side work and opening/closing tasks.
• Communicate allergy orders clearly to front-of-house and management.
• Maintain a positive, energetic, hospitality-focused attitude at all times.
