Job summary

KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot in the United States is seeking a Kitchen Assistant/Dishwasher to keep the kitchen running smoothly in a fast-paced environment. You’ll assist with food prep, maintain cleanliness, and coordinate with front-of-house to ensure timely service.

No prior kitchen experience is required, but a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a team-focused attitude are essential. You’ll lift up to 50 pounds and work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• No prior kitchen experience required, but preferred.
• Stand for 8–10 hours per shift.
• Lift 25–50 pounds.
• Work in heat, cold, and noisy environments.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to KPOT's standards.
• Assist in food preparation and ensure ingredients are fresh and ready for service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
• Communicate with front-of-house staff to coordinate timely service.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared and ready for use in a timely manner.
