Job summary

KPOT | Springfield is seeking a Kitchen Assistant/Dishwasher to help keep the kitchen running smoothly in a fast-paced All-You-Can-Eat Korean BBQ and Hot Pot setting.

You will assist with food prep, dishwashing, and maintaining clean, organized work areas while contributing to outstanding guest experiences. This role emphasizes teamwork, clear communication, and a passion for great food.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to KPOT's standards.
• Assist in food preparation and ensure ingredients are fresh for service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times.
• Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to coordinate timely service.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
• Manage time to ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and dishes are ready for use.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by fostering teamwork and collaboration.
• Assist with side work and opening/closing tasks.
• Communicate clearly with front-of-house and management regarding allergy orders.
• Maintain a positive, energetic, hospitality-focused attitude at all times.
