Bridge Defense is a Washington, D.C.‑based national security technology company that delivers secure software development, advanced IT, and cybersecurity capabilities to the Department of Defense, the Intelligence Community, and federal law enforcement agencies. We are seeking a Knowledge Manager to streamline information management, enhance collaboration, and ensure compliance within classified environments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and configure SharePoint workflows that streamline business processes from document review and approval to records management and content lifecycle operations.
- Manage SharePoint site collections, libraries, and permissions to ensure appropriate access controls and security compliance.
- Configure site collections, establish permissions and access controls, and align sites with organizational standards and security requirements.
- Design and implement metadata schemas, content types, and navigation structures that enable effective information discovery and retrieval.
- Ensure SharePoint sites and shared drives comply with classification requirements and information‑security policies.
- Establish processes to capture and preserve institutional knowledge across operational cycles.
- Assist in aligning processes and technology to enable information sharing by analysts and organizations for analytic production.
- Use centralized and peripheral databases, content‑management systems, records‑management systems, and shape workflow and processes.
- Compile reports on performance and usage metrics and future requirements for existing knowledge‑management capabilities, including search, discovery, storage and retrieval of data, and formal production and taskings.
- Disseminate intelligence products across separate networks and portals.
Required Qualifications:
- Direct experience with SharePoint workflow and automation implementation, and SharePoint site administration and maintenance.
- At least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of relevant experience, or 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
General Factors:
- May be required to work overtime on compressed schedules; more than 40‑hour work weeks may be expected.
- Willing to travel when needed.
- No relocation required.
- Must be able to sit or stand at a desk for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
- Must be able to multi‑task and rapidly change priorities with limited notice.
Clearance:
TS/SCI with current CI Poly (adjudicated within the past 5 years or ability to pass a CI Poly).
Location:
Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling; On‑Site.
Salary Range:
75,000 - 88,000 USD per year.
