Job summary

Latham & Watkins LLP in New York seeks a Knowledge Management Lawyer to lead creation, organization, and delivery of substantive knowledge assets for the Practice, while monitoring developments and informing attorneys and clients via alerts, emails, and training. Hybrid in-office presence is available.

Qualified candidates will have a JD or equivalent and at least five years of relevant law firm experience at a leading international firm, with strong M&A and private equity expertise and

Qualifications

• Extensive substantive knowledge in mergers & acquisitions and private equity.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and thorough documentation.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and maintaining standard forms, guidance notes, and knowledge resources for the Practice.
• Identifying, collecting, and organizing precedent and knowledge materials for the Practice.
• Training the team on KM databases and resources and providing substantive training to associates and trainees.
• Collaborating with Technology & Information Services to develop AI-optimized knowledge resources and integrate AI into workflows.
• Serving as a sounding board for ad hoc legal and technical queries from attorneys.
• Coordinating the involvement of team attorneys and obtaining partner feedback and review.
• Protecting confidential, privileged, financial, and proprietary information held by the firm.
