Job summary

Latham & Watkins, a leading global law firm, seeks a Knowledge Management Lawyer in New York to manage the creation, organization, and delivery of substantive knowledge assets for the Practice. The role includes monitoring developments, drafting client alerts, and informing attorneys and clients through training and bulletins.

The position may offer a hybrid schedule with in-office presence. Strong M&A and private equity experience, plus excellent communication, are required.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge and practice in mergers & acquisitions and private equity.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail in legal work.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and maintaining standard forms, guidance notes, and knowledge resources for the Practice.
• Identifying, collecting, and organizing precedent and knowledge materials for the Practice.
• Supporting the training program and providing substantive training to associates and trainees.
• Collaborating with Technology & Information Services to develop AI-optimized resources and integrate AI into workflows.
• Acting as a sounding board for ad hoc legal and technical queries from attorneys.
• Coordinating involvement of attorneys and obtaining partner feedback and review.
• Protecting confidential, privileged, and proprietary information.
