Job summary

Latham & Watkins is seeking a Knowledge Management Lawyer to oversee the creation, organization, and delivery of knowledge assets for the M&A and private equity practice in NY, Boston, or DC. The role blends legal expertise with strategic information services and AI-enabled workflows.

You will develop resources, train associates, and collaborate across teams to support attorneys and clients with timely developments while safeguarding sensitive information and maintaining high standards.

Qualifications

• JD or equivalent required.
• Minimum five years of relevant law firm experience as an attorney.
• Extensive knowledge in mergers & acquisitions and private equity.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and maintaining knowledge resources for the Practice.
• Organizing precedent and knowledge materials for the Practice.
• Supporting and training the Practice team and trainees.
• Collaborating with IT/Knowledge Services to integrate AI-enabled resources.
• Acting as a resource for ad hoc legal and technical queries.
• Coordinating involvement of attorneys and seeking partner feedback.
• Protecting confidential and proprietary information.
