Job summary

Accenture is seeking an experienced knowledge engineering leader in Detroit to drive ontology design and knowledge-graph construction for AI-driven solutions. You will supervise retrieval-augmented generation, graph tooling, and agent context engineering on engagements, with leadership responsibilities as you advance to Senior Manager.

You will engage with agile engineering teams, collaborate across disciplines, and shape methodologies while traveling up to 100% as required by client needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in knowledge engineering, semantic web, ontology design, or taxonomy/data modeling, with 1–2 years in AI/LLM work.

Responsibilities

• Lead ontology design and knowledge-graph construction on a single engagement, including schema work and retrieval-augmented generation.
• Provide method shaping across engagements as Senior Manager, with authority and interview-based fit assessment.
